Spal speed alert is a safety warning device
that reminds drivers if they exceed a pre-set speed.
Speed alert not only improves road safety
by reducing accident but may help prevent you from receiving
speeding fines and penalty points on your driving licence.
FEATURES / HOW IT WORKS ?
A speed alert can easily be set without
distraction to the driver. The speed alert dash mounted display
has four pre-set speed warning levels (30, 40, 50, 70 Mph) and
an adjustable option that can be set at any speed (i.e.110km/h
when driving in Europe) by simply pressing the button for 2
seconds whilst driving at the required speed.
By pressing the relative button according
to the speed limit on the road you are driving and speed alert
will warn you if this speed is exceeded by sounding a warning
buzzer and flashing the LED.
INSTALLATION AND CALIBRATION
Speed alert is an easy 4 wire
installation; it requires a speed pulse input, live, earth
and ignition power supply.
In order to calibrate speed alert,
simply drive the vehicle at 40 Mph whilst pressing the 40
button for 2 seconds
